Three young sisters raped and killed in India.

On Feb. 21, 2013 It was reported that the girls, ranging in age from 5 to 11, were raped and then murdered. There have not been any arrests made at this point but police have launched a manhunt to try to locate the man or men who are responsible for these awful crimes.
According to the report, the bodies of the three sisters were found "in a village well in Bhandara district in Maharashtra state on Feb. 14." The area where the girls were found is south of India's capital, New Delhi. It is unknown if the rapes and murders happened in the same village or if the girls' bodies were just dumped there.
The three sisters were killed two days before police began an investigation according to the girls' mother. The villagers became angry with authorities and decided to protest by forcing shops to close, "[burning] tires and [blocking] a national highway passing through the area for several hours," ABC News reported.
"The police did not take the case seriously and did nothing for two days," said the mother of the three girls. Naturally there are a lot of emotions running high and people are acting out demanding justice. Gang rapes in the area have become more common, the last one claiming the life of a woman back in Dec....  its so shameful...
