NEW MUSIC: Like This Like That - Chicutie @TeammCutie


British born singer CHIOMAH IGWEH-OGUNFUWA aka Chicutie was born in South West, London. Chicutie has always had a passion for music from a very young age. She was inspired by her mother who encouraged her to write her own lyrics at the age of 14. She started singing professionally at the age of 15.
Various artists such as ASHANTI, CHRISTIANA MILLIAN and MARIO inspired and influenced her music genre as she could identify with them being young and talented. More recently she admires BEYONCE KNOWLES as she is an all round entertainer.
Chicutie ishes to inspire and be an all round entertainer as she currently enjoys dancing professionally. She previously attended the pineapple dance studios in Covent Gardens. Her love of dance and performance was cultivated at Croydon Youth Theatre Organisations (CYTO).
Chicutie's hobbies include writing, trying new cuisines, fashion shopping and hanging out with close friends.
Chicutie's first single was titled COCKYNESS in JUNE 2011. She performed at private functions, and her first live stage performance (big break) was for a 2000 capacity audience for CRACK YA RIBS 2011,which took place at the Light House Hall, Camberwell, London.
In October 2011, she appeared on BEN TV on the "Magazine show" to celebrate Nigeria 51st Independence Day 2011.
Chicutie's 16th birthday bash celebration was televised on "WhatsDaHype" also in October 2011.
2011 was a bumper packed year for Chicutie, however 2012 has also proven to be just as busy with her releasing her new single "Like This Like That" and this was performed at "CRACKYARIBS GhanaMeetsNaija 2012". Chicutie shared the stage with JULIUS D GENIUS AGWU, MI Abaga, ISABELA, KSWITCH and many other artists.
As recently as 7th October 2012 Chicutie headlined at St. Chad's Nigerian Community Independence Day Fund raising event, South Norwood, performing her new single.
